Pastor Taylor Franchuk

Pastor Taylor Franchuk grew up on the plains of North Dakota. Raised a small-town kid, he has become a loyal citizen of Chicago and lover of the city. His wife Ellie shares this love and works as a Speech-Language Therapist at Chicago Public Schools. They were married in 2016 and live just a few blocks away from Living Hope. Taylor holds an MDiv from Moody Theological Seminary. After serving with a church plant on the West side of Chicago, Taylor and Ellie moved to Woodlawn in 2018 while he was serving as a Pastoral Intern at Living Hope and finishing seminary. In fall 2019, Taylor began as the director of youth programs and launched the Hope Scholars After-School program while taking over Hope City (LHC's middle school ministry). In March 2020, he was ordained as a Teaching Elder in the PCA and installed as a Pastor as Living Hope. He became the senior pastor of Living Hope in 2023.
